Philosophy: Confidence in Textiles<\/h2>\n

\u2013 that has been the motto of the independent testing for harmful substances according to OEKO-TEX\u00ae Standard 100 for textile products of all types which pose no risk whatsoever to health since 1992.<\/p>\n

With regard to the global structure and high division of labour in textile production the OEKO-TEX\u00ae criteria catalogue for the first time provides manufacturers in the textile and clothing industry with a uniform benchmark on a scientific basis for the evaluation of potentially harmful substances in textiles.<\/p>\n

The OEKO-TEX\u00ae label indicates the additional benefits of tested safety for skin-friendly clothing and other textiles to interested end users. The test label therefore provides an important decision-making tool for purchasing textiles.<\/p>\n
